How do they attach to the wall?

Our Wall Meow-nted Cat Climbers are designed to be installed securely into Gyprock (drywall) or solid brick walls. Please note, we intentionally don't include fixings/bolts as different building materials require different solutions. You can get some great advice and source the right ones from your local hardware store like Bunnings.

And the REALLY good news: installation is easy! If you can hang artwork, you got this! We provide detailed instructions with pictures (see our Product Manuals page), so as long as you’re handy with a power drill, spirit level, and stud finder, you’re good to go!

But if that's not your thing and you're looking for a helping hand, we recommend reaching out to Jim's Handyman, Hire-A-Hubby or HiPages for local service and reliable workmanship - they're pawsome!

How much weight can they hold?

We have thoroughly tested our Wall Meow-nted Cat Climbers beyond reasonable use expectations... they have held 20kg for over a week with no structural changes!

Of course, that still requires you to follow the detailed installation manual, which includes positioning recommendations, and selecting the correct fixings/bolts for your wall type.

What makes them sustainable?

The felt shelves are made from 100% Recycled PET bottles, so they're soft to the touch, firm in structure, and very tactile – cats love it. We bet your cat’s face will be rubbing against it to claim their territory in no time!

And the wall brackets are made of colour-matched powder-coated stainless steel. Very strong, very durable.

How do I care for them?

One of the many great things about the patented design and type of felt we use (other than it's made from 100% Recyclable PET bottles!) is that it's easy to maintain and long-lasting. Here are some cleaning tips:

  • Spot clean with a damp cloth or soft brush
  • Remove any unwanted hair with a lint roller
Can they be used outdoors?

Our Cat Climbers are designed for indoor use, however we know of some creative folk who have installed theirs in an outdoor catio space and they've been fine! Our own recent testing has revealed that while the felt retains it's form (which makes sense, given it's made of 100% recycled plastic bottles - not wool) the only challenge is our harsh Australian sun which may fade the colouring over time.

What should I do if some of my order is missing, incorrect or damaged?

Can I return my order?

In most instances - yes, you can! We have a 60-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE and FREE RETURNS. Please refer to our Returns Policy.

Shipping & Deliveries

How do I track my order?

You will receive tracking details in your shipping confirmation email. If you have any issues, send an email with your order number over to hello@prydepets.com.au and we'll help you out.

I'm not home during the day. How will I get my parcel?

If you can't give a work delivery address when ordering your goods, a delivery card will be put in your letterbox, and the goods will be held by the carrier. We also give you the option to select 'Authority To Leave' when ordering so that your parcel be left in a safe location, but please note that Pryde Pets is not liable for any packages lost if this option is selected.

What do I do if my order hasn't arrived?

If you haven't received your goods within the specified time (see here for estimated delivery timings) please e-mail hello@prydepets.com.au and we can track your parcel.

What should I do if my goods were damaged in transit?

If your goods are damaged when you receive them, please contact us straight away and we will replace your order. Please see the information under Returns.

Can I click and collect, rather than have my purchase delivered?

Unfortunately we don't (yet!) have a retail presence, but stay tuned. In the meantime, we assure you our dispatch network and process is fast and secure so you'll get your purchase in your hands quickly.

Do you ship international?

Yes! We use UPS Expedited for international shipping. If you have any further questions, please don't hestiate to connect with us.

Payments

How safe and secure is it to order from you over the internet?

Ordering online with Pryde Pets is just as safe as using your credit or debit card over the counter in a shop. Our website and checkouts are protected by encryption and safety certificates.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment using PayPal, Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express), Apple Pay and Google Pay and Shop Pay. AfterPay too. Credit card can be used via the Paypal site without having a Paypal account. If you have problems placing an order online, we are always happy to help - just reach out and connect with us. We do not accept cheques, cash or money orders.

When am I charged for my order?

All payments are processed at the point of ordering.

Will you share my personal details with anyone?

Your personal information isn't supplied to any third parties and your details will be kept confidential. No third parties have access to our customer list. Please go to the privacy page for details.
